Shi Zhou is a Professor of Network Science with the Department of Computer Science, UCL. He is affiliated with the Information and Decision Systems (IDS) Research Group, the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, and the Center for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Cybersecurity of UCL.

His research interests are in network science, including complex networks theory, the Internet AS topology, the Internet BGP routing, cybersecurity, epidemic modelling, information spreading, and opinion dynamics in online social networks.

He received his PhD at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) in 2004. He was awarded a prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering / EPSRC Research Fellowship in 2007.
