Dr. Shi Zhou and his collaborators proposed mathematical models and explored novel methods to control diversity of opinions and reduce polarisation in a social group, and to forecast elections results.

He and his team are also working on data-based, quantitative measurement of social interactions and opinion dynamics in online social media networks.
